If you have young children have you ever wondered if they are getting enough exercise? and how much is enough?
Guidelines show that children and young adults age 5-19 should be doing at least 60 mins moderate exercise a day (could be walking to school, scooting, riding a bike, walking the dog, playing in a playground)...
...and on three of those days they should be doing exercises that strengthen muscles (like gymnastics, football, rugby, tennis, tree climbing, jumping or running).
My little karate kid has been doing Karate since she was 3 years old and absolutely loves it - it's a great way of getting some exercise in :-)
What other sports/exercise classes are available for kids locally?
